As a Senior Business Consultant working with the application of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. Logica is an international Dynamics Partner and also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. At Logica I have so far been involved in a challenging project of implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 at a manufacturing company, a project in which I am responsible for the Sales sub-project as well as being the general Test Manager. Through the project I have also built new and deepened experience of co-operating efficiently with the solution architect and development lead as well as offshore development resources. In the application I have gained valuable new knowledge of the Product Builder, Master Planning and Production modules, apart from deepening my knowledge in the Trade and Logistics modules and processes. Furthermore I have increased my understanding of the architecture and module integration of Dynamics AX, in order to grasp a total solution. In the project I have also worked with a solution for EDI invoicing using the system’s AIF interface (Application Integration Framework). I have continued to use Microsoft Sure Step for methodology and templates through project phases like Analysis, Design and Development. In addition I have done presales work, system demonstrations, and proposal preparation at Logica. Recently I have also widened my knowledge to Service and Maintenance, including a third party Dynamics AX solution from the company Dynaway.

Sogeti Sverige AB, Sweden, full-time.

As a Business Consultant working with the application of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 for primarily the customer Midroc Electro AB, its business being electrical installations and automation. Sogeti is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a subsidiary of the Capgemini group. Through the position I have had the opportunity to broaden my previous competence of Dynamics AX, with the version 2009 in general plus the modules Project and Service and also the integrated web portal solution of Enterprise Portal. The role I had before in the customer project was Tester and then my role changed to Test Manager. When the project was close to final delivery, system integration tests and customer acceptance tests were to commence. Both of these test levels fell under my responsibility. Within the area of testing I have also had a central role in the development of a test methodology specific to Dynamics AX, resulting in test service offerings for the Dynamics AX market. My competence in the CRM module has also increased with version 2009 features and aspects of integration to Microsoft Office Outlook. In general the time with Sogeti has given me a greater understanding of technical aspects and the architecture of Dynamics AX, along with more insight to relations and resources in the chain Customers – Microsoft Partners – Microsoft. Additionally, I used Microsoft Sure Step and found the tool useful and a way of adding value to future projects.

Nefab AB, Sweden, full-time.

I joined Nefab's international trainee program focused on leadership, project management, global strategy and the company’s specific products – industrial packaging goods and services. Nefab’s group common language is English which I used on a daily basis. Immediately from the start of the trainee program, and with increasing responsibility, I worked with the implementation of a new ERP-system, Microsoft Dynamics AX (previously Axapta), in several subsidiaries in the Nefab group. Hence, the job included a lot of traveling which took me to countries in Europe and North America. My main tasks were mapping of business processes and routines, education of users of the system, data migration, integration to Microsoft Office Outlook, problem solving, testing and specification of customized functionality found necessary. Additionally I gained experience of version 3.0 and 4.0 of Dynamics AX and upgrading to version 4.0. The ERP implementation team at Nefab consists of three functionally specialized sub-teams: Sales & Distribution, Finance and Production. I started as a project co-worker and later advanced to Project Manager of Sales & Distribution, which is comparable to the Dynamics AX competence area of Trade and Logistics. Briefly Sales & Distribution includes CRM, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory Management. Furthermore I have experience from setup of employees, users, user permissions, Intercompany – automated order processing as well as document layout matters.
