Accounting Manager

2006-2007

I performed all accounting functions in MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) which included General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, etc..   I submitted the 401(k) information bi-weekly to our third party administrator.  I assisted the Controller with Month-End and FYE Closings. I developed various studies with “Smart List” and exported this information to Excel, which I could then create Pivot Tables and Charts for upper management’s review. I handled all collections for the company.  I trouble-shot and solved many, if not all problems, within the GP system to insure the integrity of the tables and databases.  Additionally, I was responsible for all other areas that are related to the Accounting Manager position.

I performed all accounting functions in MS Dynamics NAV (Navision) that included General Ledger, Financial Statements, Account Analysis, Budgets, Month-end and FYE Closings, A/R, A/P, Payroll, etc.  I researched, documented, and implemented changes to accounting policies and procedures.   I oversaw the maintenance of accounting systems and controls; I performed system maintenance and solved problems within Navision.  I reviewed data for accuracy and managed various projects within the company.  Additionally, I was responsible for all other tasks that were related to an Accounting Manager position.
