My Role

HDS has two distinct AS400 based system RETEK and LAWSON. They have decided to replace them by MS Dynamics AX 2009 along with the vertical solution LS Retail provided by MS Gold Partner on AX platform. After successfully completing conference room pilot (CRP) now engaged in the implementation of Dynamics AX 2009 along with LS Retail vertical. I am working as a “Functional Lead” on this project, and responsible for the overall design and delivery for both finance and trade & logistics.



b.       Subaru Canada Inc.


The Company

Subaru Canada Inc. (SCI) is a leading vehicle sale organization under the guidance of Fuji Heavy Industries Japan. It offers large variety of Subaru brand vehicles in Canadian Market. It operates with a network of more than 100 dealers across Canada.


My Role

Subaru has decided to replace its old AS400 based ERP system by Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. We are currently engaged to have the financial module implementation with a go-live date of January 26th 2009. My role in this project is to work as financial lead. I am responsible for preparation of as is blue print documents, to be design documents, and detailed development specification documents for customization tasks. Also involve in preparation of user testing scripts and training of Subaru project team.

For more than 20 years DIS Limited has been delivering Software Applications and Information Technology (IT) solutions to the independent and franchise dealership market in Canada and abroad. Their Dealer Management Solutions and dealer point offerings are currently installed at over 3200 dealers in 6 countries.



My Role

Ideaca got the opportunity to perform a fit-gap analysis to confirm if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 is a best fit to replace the finance module of their existing solution offering. We have performed a high level fit-gap analysis and provided DIS Ltd. with a solution document for their further decision.



d.       ESI Canada.


The Company

ESI Canada is the leading health claim management company in Canada. It serves over 6.5 million drug plan members and 2 million dental plan members. It helps Insurers, Third Party Administrators and the public sector optimize the value of drug and dental benefits by employing our sophisticated healthcare knowledge, leading-edge technology and innovative managed care principals to ensure high-quality, cost-effective healthcare products.


My Role

Ideaca got engaged in evaluating Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 ability to handle high volumes of data. I had analyzed ESI’s eventualities and prepared various scenarios for high volume testing. These testing involved A/P invoices and the entire payment process with cheque-run or EFT-run.
