Description                  : The software was made with security purpose of Kandla Port Trust.  Kandla Port Trust wanted to restrict entry of any unknown person inside port area. There was a biometric card used for this purpose using

which, each and every employee/worker who was entering port area

had an Identity Card inside in which his/her fingerprint encrypted inside

that card. So at any gate entry he/she must show card in front of

reader at the same time showing his own finger for verification. So at

any time they have online data which showed how many man/woman

were inside that port area with there detail. If they wanted to restrict

anybody entering into port area, then they could do it online using the

software.

Description                  : The portal provided for the purpose of security and online attendance and online canteen booking and canteen management. The software  was fetching data online from readers. Time office department and

central canteen got shift wise detail data about attendance and canteen

booking. According to that, they got detail data about lunch/meal/snacks booking as per their plant area. So before this system was implemented, client had to pay for wastage of food. But now they got right data so there was no need to pay extra and at the end of month they found that the payment was reduced up to 60%. Same functionality they had used to serve tea/coffee wending machine and snack wending machine and was successful in managing the whole canteen system as cash lees transaction. At the end of month whole

detailed data went to payroll and they could deduct that amount from         employee’s salary. Employee could see his attendance related                  information wherein he could fill his leave and other overtime related

data as well as canteen related information in detail. Management got

details about the bill which they had to pay to there canteen contractor.

Data Acquisition:

The software was capable of fetching raw data from attendance readers such as biometrics/optical/barcode/magnetic/proximity card systems/Smart card readers; communication was made through RS232, RS485 and MODEM & TCP/IP.

After processing this data it was stored in Database (any sort of Database). This system also contained Shift schedule processing and Muster processing for employee.

Front Hand: -

As according to client’s requirements they were using Active Server Pages, D2K,VB and 

Visual Fox Pro etc. as front hand

Modules related to the software:

·         Shift generation for general and rotational Shifts.

·         Attendance modification module where user could analyse employees extra hours, total hours, late arrival, early departure etc could change the shifts if employees had changed, not come according to the shift timings, or swap the shifts etc. It suggested the shift according to the raw data available. 

·         Created and issued memos to the latecomers, Early Departures etc....

·         Graphical representation of attendance per day through Charts based on the attendance generated

·         Online Collection of time events.

·         Offline Collection of time events And Time Setting/Hotter (Siren) Setting/Uploading employee details to reader.
